What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)is a scientific approach to increasing adaptive behaviors and decreasing problem behaviors. ABA is an evidence based approach to treating symptoms related to Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders. In addition to decreasing problem behavior, ABA also focuses on increasing skills in the areas of communication, self-help, social skills and cognition. At MGC Pediatric Behavior Change we focus on values-based treatment that is highly individualized to each client and their families.
